Trestle Board - June 2021

My Brothers,

It is that time of year when America remembers its Fallen Soldiers, but we as Free and Accepted Masons are taught to honor our Fallen Soldiers every day and to also honor our Active-Duty Military, Veterans, First Responders and Police-Men and Women who are out there every day protecting us. Where would we be without our Fallen Hero’s? Where would we be without the Brave Men and Women on the front lines

battling our enemies and protecting us from harm? I tell you now, this Country would be in a sad state of affairs if it wasn’t for these folks! So let us never forget their sacrifices and always honor and continue to pray for these brave men and women.

We now have four Entered Apprentices working to learn their Catechisms. We are hoping they will be able to stand proficient by June 17th before we go dark for July. The current plan is for the Widow’s Sons to pass these brothers to Fellow Craft on July 15th at Ionic Lodge. We will verify that in the next Trestle Board. They are making great progress, so we are confident everything will go as planned.

Also, please remember the Memorial and Dedication Luncheon for Brother W.W. “Bill” Gay that is scheduled for June 26th at 12:00 PM. We would like to have as many Ionic Brothers attend and represent our Lodge as possible. Please RSVP so we can make sure to cook enough food. You can RSVP by responding to this email.
