Good day, Brethren
It is hard to believe that we are already halfway through the year. During the month of June, the Craft discussed the results of Grand Communication, received a welcome visitation from our brothers at Neptune Lodge 421, and accepted the petitions of three potential candidates.
As tradition, Ionic Lodge will go dark during the month of July. While we may be dark, we are far from inactive. Our WM Travis is preparing the EA Degree for our potential candidate. We will be holding practices on Tuesdays. While all slots of the degree are full, any brother who would like to practice their ritual work is more than welcome to join our practices. Our tentative date for the degree is Thursday 8/13/26.
Ionic will also continue with the building improvements. WM Scott has installed new lighting in the lounge. WM Scott, it is with great appreciation that I would like to thank you for everything you do for Ionic! The remainder of the projects include improving our drink station and installing our new mailbox. WM Scott, please feel free to reach out to the Craft including myself for any assistance on these tasks.
August will be a busy month for us. During our first stated meeting, Ionic will be honoring Fred for his 65 years of service. Congratulations, my brother! Ionic is looking forward to honoring you with this award that you have most justly earned.
Our second meeting will mark the visitation of our new DDGM RW Steve. The meeting will be formal attire, and I encourage our lodge officers to practice their opening floorwork.
Finally, Ionic will be hosting the NEFMA Meeting on Wednesday 8/26/26. Your brothers will be providing some homemade BBQ so come on out for some Fellowship and good food.
