Good day, Brethren

As we officially approach the last month of summer, Ionic is back into full swing after a month of going dark. During the month of July, your WM and Wardens finished their investigation of all three petitioners with unanimous approval.

During the month we were dark, Ionic also had its second quarterly range day. The turnout was great with 6 members and all 3 potential candidates in attendance. If you are interested in joining our next one, please reach out to WM Jeff or myself, and we will keep you informed when we come up with a date for the next event.

Finally, we had a few brothers construct our new drink station. I would like to give a special thanks to WM Scott, Br. Josh, and Mr. Drew for their hard work and craftsmanship, and I would also like to give another thank you to WM Jon for his donation of the ice machine.

Prepare for busy month, my brothers, as Ionic has several events occurring throughout the month. Our first meeting consisted of Brother Fred receiving his 65 year pin. It was a pleasure and on honor to present you this award, my brother, and I would like to thank you on behalf of the Craft for your long and faithful service. We also balloted on the three potential brothers. The three candidates were elected to receive the three symbolic degrees of Freemasonry, and the EA Degree will be held on Thursday 8/13.

We have a DDGM visit during our second Stated Meeting (8/20) which means lodge officers will have opening practice on Tuesday 8/18. Finally, Ionic will be hosting NEFMA this month. Let’s give our visiting Brethren a warm Ionic welcome with some home cooked BBQ and fraternal hospitality!
