Greeting Brothers!

Sadly, this month's message starts on a somber note. Our Worshipful Master, David, had to be hospitalized this past week due to severe complications stemming from pneumonia. Currently, he has been put in ICU, and is being kept in an induced coma. Please keep Brother David and his family in your prayers. The Lodge will keep you abreast of his condition as we are updated.

This week Ionic Lodge was put front and center by hosting the Northeast Florida Masonic Association meeting. Special thanks to our Junior Warden, Richie, and his team for coordinating this successful event. We were well represented, and received very positive feedback from our visiting Brothers!

Summer is in full swing; we would like to wish everyone a Happy and safe 4th of July - "Happy Birthday America." Reminder the Lodge is "Dark" in July; however, we still have a busy month ahead of us. Thanks to our Building Committee for overseeing the replacement of the rooftop ductwork and new roof for the building. Over the past year or so, we have replaced all the Rooftop AC Units and with a new roof the building should be in good shape for the foreseeable future.

Ionic's Ritual Degree Team is diligently rehearsing for our upcoming Master Mason Degree. Brother Zachary passed his Fellow Craft Catechism proficiency and will be raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on July 25th. Please make plans to come support our newly raised Brother. Remember that the most important thing we do is make Masons!

Final Reminder: We have a District Deputy Grand Master working visit scheduled for August 8th @ 5pm, and our Official Visit will be on August 15th @ 6pm.
