Greeting Brothers,

ALAS MY BROTHER!

It is with heavy hearts that Ionic Lodge must inform you of the untimely passing of our Worshipful Master, Brother David. To say that this month has been a difficult one for our Brothers, would be an understatement. Brother David laid down his working tools and was called by the Supreme Architect to the Celestial Lodge above on July 21, 2024. The Craft ceased labor on Saturday, July 27 to pay respects to his family. The Scottish Rite hosted an extremely moving Memorial Service and Masonic Rites were rendered. Also, The Northeast Florida Masonic Association collected $404.00 to be donated to the DeMolay Masonic Youth Group in his honor.

Brother David had the True Heart of a Mason, the highest compliment any Mason could hope to receive from his Brethren. He made us all here at Ionic, Better Men & Better Masons. Our Brother will be missed dearly. Alas My Brother!
