Greeting Brothers,
Happy New Year to Brothers All. As we ring in this New Year, we hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday Season with their families. The season is always hectic but hopefully you managed to carve out a little relaxation for yourselves as well. This year of 2025 marks Ionic Lodge's 125th Anniversary and we will be planning a celebration with details forthcoming. An unbroken chain of Brotherhood passed from generation to generation that has survived 125 years, well done Brothers past and present.
On December 28, Ionic installed it’s newly Elected & Appointed Officers for the upcoming year. All the Chairs are filled with an extremely competent group of Brothers. These Officers should be commended for their dedication and commitment to the service of the Craft. In conjunction with Installation, we hosted a Family Night Dinner for our guests. It was a memorable evening and great fellowship was had with Brothers and Families. Special thanks to our Junior Warden, Brother Richie, for coordinating the evening's festivities. The position of the Junior Warden is definitely one that is a true labor of love for the fraternity, and is appreciated by all.
At our Installation, several awards and gestures of appreciation were presented. Wife of Brother Richie Varela (JW), was presented with flowers and a Perpetual Friend of the Lodge Certificate for providing all the dinners this past year. R:.W:. Dave was summoned to the East and presented his Honorary Membership to Ionic Lodge. Brother W:. Harry, PM was presented with a Certificate of Recognition stating that the lodge secretary's office would perpetually bear his name in honor of all his years of service as Ionic's Secretary. In addition, The International Order of Rainbow Girls sent a representative, Miss Danica, to present the Worshipful Master with The Gavel Presentation. This young lady delivered an outstanding and powerful presentation, leaving the Brotherhood and guests thoroughly impressed.
Finally with heavy hearts, we solemnly and respectfully closed the Funeral Lodge for 2024. Ionic had four Brothers called to the Celestial Lodge above by the Supreme Architect of the Universe this past year. A moment of silence was given in remembrance to our beloved Brothers. Please remember their families in prayers.

Our Brother Secretary will be sending the proposal up to the Grand Lodge for final approval.
