My Brothers,

This is the last Trestle Board message that I will be writing as Worshipful Master of Ionic Lodge. It has indeed been an honor and a privilege to serve the Brethren of this Lodge. A Worshipful Master’s journey through the East is a learning experience that will teach you many lessons. I have very much enjoyed this experience and will never forget all that I have learned this year. I will continue to serve the Lodge as Treasurer and will do my best to be a good steward of our funds.

I would like to thank all the other officers for your support and participation this year. Together we got a lot accomplished, and the Lodge building is in great shape. We made 4 Master Masons and they are turning out to be very productive members, so I am very optimistic in our future.

My message throughout this year was “Be excellent to each other.” That is exactly what we promised to do in our obligation and that’s what Masonry is all about. Always endeavor to lift your fellow human beings, not tear them down especially a Brother Mason. We have a great group of officers who are currently serving our Lodge and they have all embraced this message. It has been a pleasure working with all of you!

Lastly, I want to take this opportunity to wish each and every one of you and your families a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year! May 2022 bless you with good health and prosperity!
