Greetings from the East;

My brothers, as we conclude a successful 2021 under the leadership of outgoing Worshipful Master Jon, it comes time to look to 2022 and the goals we hope to accomplish. Worshipful Jon, with the assistance of many Brothers, has made great strides in the maintenance of our building, with repainting outside and replacing A/C units, among other needed repairs. I plan to continue this work, as well as turn to the task of ensuring the inside of our lodge is a welcoming place, appealing to potential candidates who come to visit us. While our building needs some updating, so does Freemasonry and the approach we take to keeping our Fraternity alive and thriving. We take good men and make them better. What could our world be if every good man was a little better still? My goal in 2022 is to bring Masonry to those who have never seen it before. However, this goal is much easier to accomplish with the assistance of existing Masons. I would ask that every able-bodied member of Ionic Lodge come join us. Even if you only make one meeting in 2022, come be amongst your Brothers. If transportation is an issue, please reach out. We can arrange assistance and would be honored to have each and every Brother. May the blessings of Heaven rest upon us and all Regular Masons!
