Brethren,

The first month is over, and I’m excited to say that Ionic had an incredible first meeting! Attendance was high with many visiting brethren who joined us for RW Jeff’s wonderful Knights of Light lecture. After the minutes were read, Ionic had the pleasure of installing our new Chaplain. Congratulations, WM Kim on taking on the role, and we appreciate your contribution to our lodge!

At the end of our meeting, our visitors from Amelia Lodge #47 returned our gavel in honor of WM Harry Sheppell’s passing. Out of appreciation for this kind gesture, I would like to assemble a group to visit Amelia Lodge during one of their meetings. If any brother is interested in joining me on this visit, please reach out to me so we can start planning a tentative date.

As a reminder, we have an upcoming DDGM visit during our 2nd meeting on February 19th. I would like to encourage our lodge officers to practice their lines as we will be graded for our opening.

Alas, My Brothers:

We have just been informed that another member of our lodge has laid down his working tools. Brother Daniel Wayne Breckenridge has passed. Please remember his family and friends in your prayers during their time of need.

P.S. I would like to thank all the brothers who have been cleaning and reorganizing our lodge. Our brother Secretary has taken it upon himself to go above and beyond in sprucing up his new office, and I would like to thank Brother Richie for your efforts.
